Greetings Heroes of Eem!

We’re back with a new update to cover some housekeeping as well as show some progress on the books! We’ve been toiling away in our wizard towers on everything Eem and have been champing at the bit to share some progress. But first, the aforementioned housekeeping...

Meeples Clarification

All physical reward tiers will get one pack of Dungeoneer Adventures Meeples because they were unlocked as a stretch goal. If you don’t see a line item for the Dungeoneer Adventures Meeples in your order, don’t worry. The meeples will be included inside every physical Dungeoneer Adventures Beginners RPG Box Set. If you backed another physical tier for the Underlands Sandbox, the meeples will appear as a line item in your order, and it will be packaged separately.

Didn’t grab a physical reward tier? You can still add a meeple set as an add-on, no problem!

Survey Gremlins

There were some unexpected errors when the surveys were sent out that we would also like to clarify. The Adventures in the Mucklands PDF and The Mucklands Random Encounters PDFs were accidentally listed in everyone’s rewards, but this has since been corrected. The digital files were sent out in error, but that has been fixed, and all mistakenly distributed files have been removed from backers' downloads. We apologize for any confusion–there were some gremlins in the system! You will now see listed the Adventures in the Underlands PDF and The Underlands Random Encounters PDF (both of which are not complete yet). 

Land of Eem Album

You may have also briefly seen the Land of Eem Dungeon Synth digital album listed in your rewards, but that was not a reached stretch goal. However, it is available as an add-on! You can now check out a fantastic sample from Lamerak, one of the the talented artists working on the project. The music is fun and inspiring, and we’re excited for more!

For those who got the core Land of Eem game PDFs, we'll also be sending those out via drivethrurpg.com in the next few days, so keep an eye out for that if you use that platform.

Layout Progress

The Dungeoneer Adventures Beginners RPG and The Underlands Sandbox are deep in layout, and we’ve made great progress. New art is underway, and we’ve also gone through the book and added a bunch more quests and NPCs to even out the layout. These are going to be beautiful books!

Next Steps

We’ll be taking the rest of 2025 to finish the remaining art and layout of the new books! That means PDFs for the Dungeoneer Adventures Beginners Game and The Underlands Sandbox Setting should be on the horizon in early 2026 if all goes according to plan. And when you get your hands on them, we’ll definitely be calling on your support to pore through the books and terminate all the typos you can! 

Thanks again for all your support, and apologies for any confusion from the back end. It's all cleared up, and we’re full steam ahead with finalizing the layout and making some great additions to the books.

The Pledge Manager LIVE this Weekend!

Greetings, Adventurers!

The door to adventure just swung wide open—the BackerKit Pledge Manager will start going out to backers today! That means Late Pledges have officially ended, but now backers can jump in and take advantage of those sweet add-ons. 
 

What’s new (and why this is big)

• Pledge Manager Surveys: This is how you manage your rewards and add-ons in the BackerKit Pledge Manager.  
  
  
  • Smoke Test: Today we sent out surveys to 5% of backers called the "Smoke Test". This ensures everything is set up correctly so we have a chance to amend anything before we send out the remaining 95% of surveys.  
  • Remaining Surveys: As long as everything looks good, the rest of the surveys will be sent out after 24 hours Saturday evening. We will make a comment on this post and pin it letting everyone know when the remaining surveys have been sent!
• New Goodies: We’ve added a few add-ons to the shop! The Dungeoneer Adventures Meeples, the Dungeoneer Adventures Badges Sticker Sheet, the Dungeoneer Adventures Dice Set, and the Land of Eem Dungeon Synth Album.  Remember backers have exclusive access to discounted add-ons in the Backerkit Pledge Manager! 
• Core PDFs: If included in your reward tier or add-on, the Land of Eem Core PDFs are being sent once all surveys have been sent out. This means Saturday evening look out for an email notifying you of a download available in your BackerKit Pledge Manager Survey after you have received the email notifying you of your survey.

Available as both a cassette and digital album, this album by Fantasy Audio Magazine and Lamerak, is the perfect soundtrack companion for your game.

Dungeoneer Adventures Badges Sticker Sheets 
Players can mark their earned Badges by decorating the back of their character sheet! This set comes with 4 sticker sheets, each with 13 Academy course badge stickers and a Land of Eem: Dungeoneer Adventures logo sticker. 

Dungeoneer Adventures Beginners Game Dice Pack
The box set comes with a set of custom Dungeoneer Adventures d12 dice, but if you’d like to grab more for your players, we’re making this pack of two sets available.

Shipping to be charged closer to fulfillment

We will not be collecting shipping fees at this time, but will be charging for shipping closer to fulfillment at a later date. We are doing this to ensure that shipping fees are as accurate as possible given the evolving factors affecting logistics. We expect fees to be similar to what we estimated during the campaign. 

Pre-order Store

Once all surveys have been sent out we will also open the Pre-order Store. So if you have any friends that may have missed out on the campaign you can let them know they can snag a copy there! The link will be at the top of the Kickstarter page once it is open.

Campaign Complete, Meeples Unlocked, and What’s Next!

First Off… Thank You!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for joining us on this adventure. Whether you backed the Dungeoneer Adventures Beginner Box, the Underlands expansion, or everything Land of Eem, your support made this campaign a huge success.

The journey has been nothing short of amazing. Thanks to you, we’ve officially expanded the Land of Eem, and brought an accessible beginner RPG to life. 

Late Pledges Are Now Open

Kickstarter has an awesome new feature that allows newcomers to still back the project! Anyone who pledges late here on Kickstarter will contribute to unlocking more stretch goals! Which brings us to the next bit of news… 

The Meeples Have Been Unlocked!

Woohoo! With late pledges enabled, we’ve made it to $225,000 and the Dungeoneer Adventures Meeples have been unlocked! That means everyone who backed a physical pledge tier during the campaign, or with late pledges, will get a set of Coop, Daz, Oggie, Mindy, and Ingrid to collect! We know how excited everyone was for this stretch goal so it's amazing to see it happen!

Remaining Stretch Goals

As for the remaining stretch goals, there’s still time to unlock them with late pledges! If more folks decide to contribute with late pledges, the Land of Eem dungeon synth album, bonus adventures, bonus character cards, and the dungeon generator are still within reach!

BackerKit Pledge Manager

Just to clarify, the late pledges on Kickstarter are different from the BackerKit Pledge Manager, which will come later; add-ons and pre-orders on the BackerKit Pledge Manager will not count toward stretch goal content. Late pledges on Kickstarter will remain open until we open the BackerKit Pledge Manager, most likely in a month. But no need to worry—we’ll give you a clear heads-up.

Hey Adventurers! 

You may have noticed we have been keeping a little secret up our sleeves on the Community Calendar, and we’re beyond excited to share it with you finally! As a special thank you for all of your amazing support, we’re unveiling an exclusive, free Flitterfolk meeple! 

This adorable bat-folk character is ONLY available to backers who pledge for a physical tier before the campaign ends on July 18th. It’s a one-time-only, never-to-be-collected-again meeple, and we hope you’re as thrilled about this adorable little guy as much as we are.
