Greetings!
Been a minute since our last update, but we wanted to work through some details so we’d actually have something to share! Things are finally picking up pace with pre-production. We’re in the last stretch of prepping all the files (box, slipcase, retail sheets, stickers, head cards, etc.) for both projects and will be reviewing digital proofs soon.
After that, the next steps will be to receive and review physical prototypes and proofs from the printer.
To be fully transparent, we are likely running behind the projected delivery date of Feb 2027, but we don’t have a clear timeline just yet–so stay tuned for more updates as the proofing and prototyping phase continues. How this happened is hard to explain! We’ve been done with the actual books and game material for 5 months. But, there have been lots of inefficient back and forth communications with the printer that have been causing repeated delays.
On the bright side, we look to be entering a phase of much more efficient production. So we look forward to sharing more, including photographs of the prototypes as we are able to.
We truly appreciate your continued patience. While many moving parts are involved, everything appears to be heading in the right direction.

We have some news that we are still pinching ourselves over. Perhaps you've heard already, but Land of Eem just recently won Roleplaying Game of the Year at the 49th annual Origins Awards, one of the most respected honors in tabletop gaming.
You backed this world and believed in it, and when they read our name, we were thinking about you folks for sure. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for adventuring in the Land of Eem and sharing it with friends and family!
Land of Eem Soundscape Vol. 1 Is Here
More good news! The digital tracks for the Land of Eem Soundscape Vol. 1 are now officially released! If you purchased the soundtrack add-on, physical or digital, you'll find access to the files in BackerKit today! Featuring the awesome atmospheric synth music of Bubble Wizard and Lamerak, these tracks are perfect for setting the mood at your table. Some of the tracks really harken back to a Zelda and JRPG vibe, while others are darker and dungeon synth-y. Each track is themed to locations in the Mucklands and Underlands for a total of 21 tracks! Here’s the track list:

Production Update
We’ve been going back and forth with the printer for a while now, which has taken much longer than anticipated! But we’re close to moving forward with prepress and assuring everything is ready for print. Between The Underlands and Dungeoneer Adventures, there are a lot of moving parts, so it's taking some extra time to get it all straight. But we’re close!

Ahoy adventurers!
First off, a huge thank you to all who gave us proofreading feedback on the Underlands and Dungeoneer Adventures books. It was a tremendous help! After working with our talented proofreader, Ben Sumner, we finished proofreading the main books! Huzzah!
But today, we’ve also got a few more things to share with you: the GM Screen, the Dungeoneer Adventures character sheets, and the Underlands Book of Random Encounters! You will receive an email letting you know you have the files if you have any of these items in your pledge. Here is a link to access your survey as well!
Any proofreading feedback on these in the coming days would be greatly appreciated. The Random Encounters book, however, is not going to print any time soon, so feedback on that is open-ended.
As it stands now, we’re a little bit behind where we wanted to be in the pre-press process, but we factored in delays to the projected timeline and are working hard to stay on schedule!

Another big update! PDFs of the Dungeoneer Adventures Beginners RPG are here and READY for you to check out!
All of the writing and layout is in place (minus a few art pieces), and everything is fully playable. But, it’s not completely finished. Just like with The Underlands, we’re calling on you to help us proofread! Speaking of the Underlands, we're also sharing the Underlands hex map!

To everyone who has left proofreading feedback already on our Discord—we can’t thank you enough! You’ve been a huge help in making The Underlands the best it can be. It’s a little short notice, but you’ll have until April 7th to proofread the Dungeoneer Adventures material and give us feedback on the Land of Eem Discord in the #proofreading-feedback channel!
After that, we’ll be implementing all the fixes and moving forward with prepress.
